  13. Asking me to tell you why being a mom is special is like asking me to count every drop of water in teh oceans. Where do I start? The fact that my loving Father, who knows everything about me, would trust ME with these precious little treasures of his, touches a very deep chord inside my soul and leaves me so very thankful for His lovingkindness toward me. To grant me the opportunity to not just know them, but to love them and be a part of their life. That is so very special.

  19. I'll become a mother for the first time in November. It means so much to me because I've waited so long for it to happen. I hope to inspire my children as my mom always inspired me. She's such a wonderful, selfless person. I only hope that I can be a fraction of the mom she's been to us.

I'm not a mother yet, but Lord willing, one day I will be. I've dreamt of being a mom for so long and always wanted lots of kids. I know children are a gift from God and truly are great blessings.
My mother is very special to me because she raised me and my 2 brothers on her own. She is also who taught me about the lord and never stopped praying for me.

  56. Being a mom is an amazing journey.
I am mom to seven beautiful daughters. One-at age 15-went home to be with The Lord. Two have already blessed me with grandchildren. The youngest of my girls is 16. We were blessed with the opportunity to adopt a little boy who is now 2. We just celebrated his 2 year on Monday. Oh how different he is from the girls. Words cannot the pure Joy in my heart for being given the opportunity to be his mom. God is so good. I know it is my "responsibility" to teach my children about God and his wonderful magnificence, but these days I can only find pleasure in that task. Through the ups and downs-my God never disappoints.
I pray each day that I am able to carry out that task with the grace and peace that only God can bless me with. There are also others who I am "mom" to-and they also fill my heart with joy. For it is only by Gods grace that we are able to continue each day. Take care!
